What a night! The Stars came out in full force to celebrate the 29th Billboard Latin Music Awards Ceremony. The night was a toast to the achievements Latin artists has contributed to the culture of not only music, but entertainment in general. The 29th Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony was held at Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
Presented by Billboard, the awards ceremony great significance as the industries larges award show celebrating the achievements of the biggest stars in Latin music. The night was hosted by actors Kate del Castillo and Jaime Camil. The Billboard Latin Music Awards Ceremony is the cap of Billboard’s annual Latin Music Week, which has grown into a fiesta of great culture, music, conferences and groundbreaking technology.
The ever popular Bad Bunny led all nominations with 23, followed by Karol G with an astounding 15 nominations respectively. The categories ranged from Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, to even Publisher of the Year. The Billboard Latin Music Awards Ceremony was aired exclusively on Telemundo whos network has tremendous international reach spanning syndication worldwide to 100 countries in over 40 languages. The night was filled with amazing performances which included a Christina Aguilera performance of “La Reina,” form her Grammy-nominated album “Aguilera.” The night was a great win for Latin female artists such as Anitta, Kali Uchis, Rosalia, Tini Stoessel and Becky G, who were all nominated in several categories which included Female Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year.
