The “Good Guy” has been a popular term in history used to define a morally valid person or character, a hero of sorts. Well our favorite pop-funk band Against The Current introduces their new single, “Good Guy” as a dedication to every person who’s ever been fooled by someone you thought was in your corner. I believe we can all relate!
‘Good Guy’ is a reminder to all to keep your head in the game. ATC is a beatifully written track that simply rocks behind Chrissy Costanza’s vocals which are powerful and felt. Chrissy’s ability to change tones, expressing her anger, but falling back to take self inventory resonates.
The band from Poughkeepsie, New York, consisting of Chrissy Costanza, drummer Will Ferri, and guitarist/singer Dan Gow has been dazzling fans for years. In 2012, they released the singles ‘Thinking’, ‘Closer Faster’ which led to the groundbreaking EP Infinity in 2014. Since, Against The Current has changed the line-up of band members, but the winning recipe remains.
Against The Current are fully engaged on their Nightmares & Daydreams World Tour featuring Trophy Eyes and special guests Yours Truly. The Tour is currently making its’ way throughout the United States and will conclude in Greensboro, NC, May 17th.
