Fresh off a stunning performance with The Smashing Pumpkins on The World Is a Vampire ten city tour, the band is elated to start their own European Tour. The Margaritas Podridas European tour will take the band to Madrid, Paris, London, and Berlin, Germany. With the current success, it is expected to be quite an extravaganza of epic proportion. Margaritas Podridas has taken the United States by storm, and from the looks of it; the band is in a full fledged tsunami!
The alternative rock/shoegaze band hailing from Hermosillo, Sonoro, Mexico was originally formed by lead vocalist Carolina Enriquez. In addition to vocals, Corolina plays bass guitar, with Rafael Armenta on strings and Esli Meuly on guitar, and Alfonso Lopez who replaced former member Sofia Leon. Now with a new line-up, Margaritas Podridas is ready for a new frontier. The visuals for the new single “Corazón”, was directed by Carolina Rivera and Daniel Alejandro. The video features a dialogue which portrays an angry Carolina as she is hurt by the words of someone she loves dearly. The video features aggressive lyrics spilling out as raw emotions.
