Earlier this year, Amy released ‘Anyway’, a high energy track written by Caleb Jermaine and produced by the Beat Ventriloquists. ‘Anyway’, was the beginning of the transition, giving us a sneak peek into the sensual world of relationship bliss. Amy’s versatility that’s moving into the direction of mature, thought provoking content that’s sure to touch the soul. ‘Run It’, was written by Amy Correa Bell during the pandemic with her brother Les Les. Les Correa, a well-respected producer/DJ & artist, is known in the music production realm as a mastermind with credits on “All My Children”, “The Office”, and the hit television series “NCIS: Los Angeles”. Les Correa works his mojo on ‘Run It’, which begins with light synths’, a rhythmic tap of high hats which slaps perfectly with Amy’s powerful voice. Trust me, ‘Run It’ is a vibe that just feels good and a set-up for what’s next……….
What could a well written, produced, and orchestrated song possibly be missing? The Visuals! Amy Correa Bell and director João Dall’Stella really hit a homerun on this one. The imagery begins with Amy sitting on a bed in darkness, as she glares at the many photographs, she is thrown into a mirage of past memories of those who have passed. Suddenly, an array of sunshine peeks from behind the clouds, sparking a beautiful smile of hope. ‘Run It’, is a tribute that is inspired by the connection Amy shares with her great grandmother. There are moments you will never forget, and Amy Correa Bell does a great job of sharing those cherished memories with her fans.
What’s next for Amy Correa Bell?
When can we expect an album? The answer is soon, very soon. It has been reported that we can look forward to a ‘Run It’ remix EP, followed by a full length album sometime in 2023. In addition, Amy has plans of establishing a ‘Run It’ Latin Cultural Festival, where Latin artists can showcase their talent and celebrate accomplishments through charities that support immigrant culture.
