British pop-star Mimi Webb has a way of telling her story! Once again, Ms. Webb takes listeners on a journey that is all too known by those who’ve ever been in love with her new single, ‘Ghost of You. The single marks the third for the star who began her musical odyssey at the age of 13. Born and raised in Canterbury, UK, Mimi is blazing a trail, which will propel her into international fame.
Since signing with Epic Records in 2019, Mimi Webb has dropped nothing but classic pop tunes that not only feel good, but tantalizes euphoria. After three singles from 2020 to 2021, Mimi released her debut EP ‘Seven Shades of Heartbreak, which took the world by storm. The singles “Before I Go”, “Good Without” and “Reasons”, officially introduced the British star to the UK charts and garnered millions of streams across a multitude of platforms.
As for 2022, Mimi Webb has been busy songwriting and touring; however, she has managed to release three singles, with ‘Ghost of You”, signifying her latest single that tells a story of a heartbreak, that won’t break. A single that was scheduled to be released in early September, being pushed back for the untimely passing of Queen Elizabeth II, it is well received by fans and followers alike. As a matter of fact, Mimi Webb performed at the Platinum Party at the Palace in June in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
‘Ghost of You’ is written by Mimi Webb herself, with co-writers Phil Plested and Stuart Price. The pop driven track, is a classic sing-along tune which dials in Mimi’s vibrant voice, with a well produced melody, which will reside in your head for days. The visuals feature Mimi Webb taking a stroll through a British arts district flipping from embracing a teddy bear, to a sequence looking dress. Directed by Fon Watkins and Fa, the visuals paint a picture that illustrates a vision of love and despair. Trust me, ‘Ghost of You’ is a certified hit that will definitely grow legs. Ghost of You is the follow-up to Mimi Webb’s highly successful single, “Goodbye”, which peaked at number 74 on the UK Charts.
