Country music has a new power duo; ladies and gentlemen, meet Tim & Taylor as they sweep the nation with their much anticipated single, ‘Asking For A Friend’. The husband and wife team is the story of true love, personified! Tim Gore, from Corbin, Kentucky and Taylor from Grants Pass, Oregon both converged on Nashville in a stroke of faith that has led to one of the greatest Country Music duos to ever assemble. Talking about meant to be! And WE are very grateful!
‘Asking for A Friend’, is the typical story of love and intrigue that leaves one or both parties playing matchmaker. As with my luck, the friend is left in the cold, while I escape with the girl. But that’s neither here nor now. Taylor and Tim, have a magic that has matured into great songwriting and a stage show that carries energy which is reciprocated by their admiring fans. The unique blend of both voices in harmony is something that comes off as organic. From grooming their vocals and working with pioneers such as Paul Worley, the duo has managed to forge a way in Nashville among some of the greats in the industry.
‘Asking For A Friend,’ originally written by guys, features Taylor taking the reins on lead vocals, which only adds to the euphoria of the track. From the beginning verse, the dialogue sounds like the conversation women have about us men on a daily basis. ~ I’m just guessing….. The songwriting from Tim & Taylor is infectious and superb when it comes to storytelling.
I personally have been a fan of Tim & Taylor since the 2020 release of their smash single, ‘Rain on the Roof of This Car,” which actually made its premiere on CMT in early 2022. The husband and wife duo has all the key ingredients of stardom, and ‘Asking For A Friend’ is sure to be the catalyst which will propel them into stardom. With nearly 300+ shows behind them, the future is bright for Tim & Taylor, and we will be tracking the success all the way to the Grammys!
