Arguably, one of the baddest females in the hip-hop arena, Doja Cat has completely transformed from a pop-rapping artist to a full force to be reckoned with. In lieu of her upcoming studio album ‘Scarlet’ dropping later this month, Doja Cat delivered the new single, “Demons” on Friday to rave reviews from the hip-hop community.
Within minutes of the release of “Demons”, the track began trending on YouTube, amassing nearly 1 million views in the first 12-hours. But that’s to be expected from Doja Cat! Since taking the world by storm in 2012, dropping music on SoundCloud, Doja Cat has been the topic of discussion by the media and fans alike.
From the looks of it, ‘Scarlet’ features Doja Cat’s alter ego, eccentric, electric, and full of fire, as she has already displayed on the album’s first two singles, “Attention”, and “Paint the Town Red”. “Demon”, features a timely flow that goes quickly from 0-100, furthermore demonstrating that Doja Cat can match any energy served. The visuals directed by music video director Christian Breslauer and Doja Cat, projects like a scene creepier than poltergeist. The “Demons” are back and ready to haunt the living @hit out of you, but everyone must admit, there is a little imperfection that haunts us all! Enjoy the video~
