Just a little less than three years ago, hip-hop superstar DaBaby had the hottest song in the world, “Suge.” Put emphasis on the words, “In the World”! Flashing lights, cameras, riches, and a borage of music awards accompanied DaBaby as he made his way to hip-hop supremacy. DaBaby was on fire!!!
From winning countless music awards, including BET Awards, BET Hip-hop Awards and numerous ASCAP honors, DaBaby had shattered almost every Billboard Charts record imaginable. However these days’, DaBaby finds himself in a cloud of controversy which has consumed the headlines as of recent. One of the many controversies that surrounds the rapper is a recent interview on the My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa, in which DaBaby stated that he has the same lyrical skill as Eminem, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Pretty bold statements; however, I would have to agree. I do believe without a shadow of a doubt that DaBaby is probably the most underrated M.C.’s in the game. I did say M.C.! There is a distinct difference between a M.C. and a rapper. Ladies and gentlemen, DaBaby is that dude, a real M.C.
DaBaby is the truth, on wax or in the booth! The common theme in the industry is the punch-in, which is definitely an effective method; however, when it comes to cyphers or straight up freestyles, DaBaby fits the bill and I would match him up with just about anyone . From metaphors to punch lines, DaBaby has a formula that will have the average novice in mere admiration. Literally, you can see the wheels turning as DaBaby keeps on churning lines that will paralyze. The Who Shot Ya, from the infamous Power 106FM LA Leakers freestyle over the City Girls beat was pure poetry in motion. The ingenuity, the audacity and the will to spit a hot 16 that damn made sense! It was over from there. Some will make the claim it was a written bar from previous, but real M.C.’s seen in real-time how DaBaby’s mind operates- its on a different pivotal axis, running fire bars together so effortlessly,

So question; what makes a great M.C.? A great M.C. is a master of flow, clarity and more importantly, the delivery. DaBaby is the perfect example of all the intangibles in a constellation of showmanship that many lack. So while the tabloids attack, lie and report false narratives, my money is on DABABY! From sabotaged venue set-ups, to rumors of unsold tickets, @dababy has been through it all. Interestingly so, DaBaby stock continues to rise in the Industry. Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment, the label he started in 2017, distributed by Interscope currently has five artists on its roster with the future looking bright for future projects. According to economists, we are headed into a recession, but for DaBaby, the sky seems to be the limit. But back to bars — I dare you, dare you to challenge DaBaby?
