The news out of Hollywood has been ALL good lately. The upcoming sequel features stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. What began as a Nickelodeon series “All That” has turned into a phenomenon.
Kenan and Kel will return to play their legendary roles as Dexter and Ed. The first “Good Burger” film premiered in 1997 to rave reviews. To put it simple and plain, we loved it! “Good Burger 2”, will feature the original writers, executive produced by Heath Seifert, James III and Kevin Kopelow. After 25 years, the love and excitement for the sequel remains the same as the frenzy over the original.
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell announced the upcoming film on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Thompson stated, “It’s a blessing to be back and further commented that both wanted a sequel since the first “Good Burger” hit theaters nearly 20-years ago”.
“Good Burger 2”, follows a different path with Dexter finds himself feeling down after his prize invention fails miserably. Ed swoopes in with the answer! Come back to Good Burger! After taking his job back at Good Burger, Dexter comes up with a clever plan to rejuvenate his invention, but once again it fails, at Good Burger’s expense.
“Good Burger 2” is going to be another classic edition of Dex and Ed’s adventure to be great!! It’s a chance for those who missed out, to relive their childhood! ~ Renzo
