In lieu of his upcoming album, DJ Quik releases a playeristic hit, “CLASS”.When the new album drops, it will signify DJ Quik’s tenth studio album spanned across nearly 4 decades.
Man, you talking about putting in work. DJ Quik, the rapper is throwed as hell, but as a producer, he has climbed milestones with producing hits no one even knows he created. DJ Quik will be the first to tell you, he is not in it for the glam, but his desire is to produce great music to keep your heads bumpin. And for that, we Salute you King!
“CLASS”, is an appreciation song to the finest, curvy, and bodacious women all across the world. Let a playa hola at ya! In true west coast fashion, DJ Quik chops up the track with a funky bassline and rhythms as only he can do. The flow is classic DJ Quik, as he navigates the bars in a seductive, but clever tone!! Real Spit!
Since dropping Quik is The Name in 91′, DJ Quik has captured the hearts and minds of the streets with his unique style of production. Quik’s blend of funk and rhyth’s has churned out some legendary hits, including “Tonight”, “Dollaz + Sense”, “Born and Raised in Compton” and “Jus Lyke Compton.” Over the years, Quik has workded with everyone from Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Kurupt, and Suga Free. In 1996, DJ Quik put the world on notice with the production of one of R&B’s legendary groups, Tony, Toni, Tone #1 hit “Let’s Get Down”.
The accomplishments of DJ Quik are too long to list, but please believe he will go down as one of the greates to ever bless the boards. Be on the lookout for the album which hasn’t been titled yet, but is reportedly to be released to the world this summer.~
