Brooklyn Drill rapper Lil Mabu is making his mark on the industry with non-stop heat as he continues to prove he’s one of the best to do it! Since dropping his introductory track ‘Miss Me’ in 2020, his career has taken off like a rocket with no return to sender. Yet on Friday, Lil Mabu dropped his first drill single ‘Teach Me How to Drill’ featuring fellow Brooklynite Fivio Foreign. The track goes ham with a drill type knock that delivers solid production from GRKS, 808k_antares & Swamiq. The subject matter is guided, emotion felt, and simply resonates with the fans.
‘Teach Me How to Drill’ is sure to follow up on the success of ‘Mathematical Disrespect’, released in May was Lil Mabu’s first single to chart in the U.S. With his rising success, the first-year student at Emory University has a lot to offer and should make for a great album in early 2024.
‘Teach Me How to Drill’ comes as Lil Mabu’s first project since the controversial single with Chrisean Rock ‘Mr. Take Ya Bitch’, a diss track taking aim at Wack 100 and Blueface. Check out the visuals directed by Rick Lancaster!!
