Long Live Lil Yase!: ‘Forever 600’ is for the fans

Long live Lil Yase! The trailblazing talent was skyrocketing to stardom before his untimely death in November of 2020. Stepping into the spotlight from  Sunnydale, a rougher industrial neighborhood out of San Francisco, Lil Yase pursued his passion at a young age.

Lil Yase had already made a lasting impression on the rap scene. He was recognized for his signature style and high-energy performances. Remaining a force to be reckoned with, his loyal fan base continued to expand. Listeners new and old value his contributions to the genre. Though his death was tragic his estate is now working to guarantee that his legacy lives on by releasing unreleased records.

As a result, Lil Yase’s estate created a strategic collaboration with M1 Promotions in 2022 to distribute previously unheard material and allow fans to appreciate all aspects of Lil Yase’s artistry. This collaboration wanted to assure that his influence on the rap culture would continue. In addition to hopes that his unreleased material would reach a wider audience.
