Mimi Webb has a lot going on these days! A week after the release of her highly anticipated debut album, “Amelia”, the beautiful British popstar announced she is taking her show global! But wait folks; that’s not it, in lieu of the album, Mimi Webb lights the airwaves on fire with her new single “Freezing”. Trust me, there is nothing cold about it!
‘Freezing’, is the fourth single from the “Amelia” album; however, ‘Ghost of You’, ‘Red Flags’, and ‘House of Fire’ preceded the album release. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Mimi Webb announced the start of her own Amelia Tour, which will send the international star on an odyssey throughout the world, beginning with the UK and Europe.
Produced by Wells and The Nocturns, ‘Freeze’ is an upbeat track that takes listeners on a ride of break-up and finding oneself. The songwriting is guided and directed to tap into the emotions of finding and falling in love. The single comes off the heels of Mimi’s smash hit “Red Flags”, which has propelled her as an international star with nearly a Billion streams worldwide. The visuals for ‘Freezing’ is a tantalizing look of a young woman expressing herself. Directed by Drew Kirsch, the video gives viewers an inside look into liberation from captivity. In the beginning, Mimi Webb takes a stroll through the neighborhood and makes it home to a yard full of black balloons.
Talking about burning the midnight oil, Mimi Webb has been on a relentless journey promoting and performing. For the past two years, Mimi has performed at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the Isle of Wight Festival, The Late Show with Stephen Golbert, and the ELLEN show, to name a few. In addition, Mimi Webb was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2023 Brit Awards.
After three years of working on the album and performing, Mimi Webb has arrived, and the world will never be the same! Thank You Mimi, and we look forward to seeing you on the Amelia Tour~
