MTV and eOne produced dating series, ‘The Love Experiment’ gives inside look at Dating Apps

Relationship bliss? Or relationship, miss? The carousel of dating in today’s society is complex, to say the least. Finding the perfect mate has become an enigma wrapped around warp choices and decisions that could prove detrimental to one’s health. MTV and eOne have partnered to produce a new dating series, “The Love Experiment”, to premiere Aug. 15, in the 10 p.m. time slot. 

Season 1. of “The Love Experiment”, follows three single best friends from Atlanta, Georgia – Paige; Tamara; and Marcia as they navigate love’s triangle. The ladies are assisted in their search for the perfect bachelor by relationship expert Mari Waugh “Spicy Mari”, CEO of Spicy Life. While on a mission to find true love, Spicy Mari works with the three ladies to effectively communicate and connect as they contemplate the choice of bachelor and what they need in a relationship.

“The Love Experiment” will offer viewers a thought-provoking look into the modern world of dating.  The series introduces and explores the dating app and online dating experience to inquiring minds.  The challenges of finding love in today’s digital world makes for an exciting journey for the three ladies. As they soon find out, making a choice between the eligible bachelors is a task that requires self reflection, guidance, and a whole lot of luck. The cast of bachelors bring their ‘A’ games to the table; however, the ladies find there’s a give and take to a blissful relationship. 

MTV and eOne, delivers “The Love Experiment” in hopes to shed light on the dating app experience.  The popularity of dating apps over the past few years has seen a spike in the market. In 2022, the dating app market grossed $5 billion in revenue with nearly 350 million active users.
