Nothing controversial to see here! The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame will enshrine some of the game’s well deserving finalists this summer in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Class of 2023 will officially be enshrined in the Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
The list of nominees to the Hall of Fame was submitted in December and those selected were announced on 3/31. Enshrinement weekend will begin on Friday, August 11th, with celebrations, followed by the awards gala. The official ceremonial Jacket and Ring presentation of the Class of 2023 Hall of Fame will take place at the annual Hall of Fame Awards at Springfield’s Symphony Hall.
The dates of the enshrinement were moved to be accessible to guests of the inductee and the fans who enjoy attending the historic event. No longer will the event be held the week after Labor Day.
