It’s about time! Since the inception, hip-hop has been a male dominated genre, and rightfully so! But we are here today to pay homage to the female M.C’s that have treaded their own track and by laymen terms, are damn right successful. Women has been on the fore front since the beginning as rappers, producers, emcees and pioneers in the industry.
Female MC’s are continuing to rock the modern culture. As a matter of fact, five of the ten highest grossing artist in the industry are women. Sexy, Sassy and always Classy, female rappers deliver a wide array of styles, fashion and energy that comes off raw and unapologetic.

With a passing of the baton from decade to decade, female rappers are defining the culture in hip-hop by challenging the pre-conceived norms.
