The biggest reveal party ever is for Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian. The couple married in 2017, are expecting baby #2. Serena Williams, the undisputed Queen of professional tennis is living her best life, and doing a damn good job at it, might I add. With her first daughter, 5-year old Olympia, she is making room for a well anticipated addition to the family.
Both Serena’s husband and Alexis Ohanian, the world renowned co-founder of the popular platform Reddit, are busy making room for what many in the world of entertainment consider a surprise, but to the contrary, a well expected new bundle of Joy! Serena Williams announced the news on Instagram last week by sharing a carousel of herself and Ohanian. In the photos, Serena is seen caressing her new baby bump as the couple smile as they stand side by side.
The appearance at the 2023 Met Gala fueled speculations of a surprise, but spectators couldn’t have imagined this. In the Instagram post, Serena stated “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala”. That was all it took for the press to run wild with the story. Through a personally penned poem, Serena Williams also stated that she never thought she would have children with her career, but also expressed her gratitude for all the support she has received over the years.
Now five years of age, the couple’s first child remains priority number one. In recent years, Serena has dealt with numerous injuries while trying to maintain a career and be a full-time mother. And yes, Serena and Ohanian have done just that. The proud parents have been a staple of what it takes to provide a happy home and environment for Olympia, and we can’t wait to see and experience the joy and love they will show the new addition.
