They say, “A dog is a man’s best friend”. For the most part that premise rings true, as millions of dog owners claim the fury canines usher joy and adds extended years to their life. For Reggie, voiced by Will Ferrell ( a Terrier mix) realizes his owner Doug isn’t worthy of his loyalty, The naive Reggie meets a fellow Terrier, a stray named ‘Bug” voiced by Jamie Foxx. From the random encounter, Reggie soon finds out that ‘Bug’s’ perspective on life might just be the antidote for revenge on his owner. “Strays“, is a story of redemption and finding one’s own self worth.

Bug is just what the doctor ordered! Bug is truly transparent in his candor and supplies a raunchy, foul mouthed, say what you please attitude to the situation. Accompanied by Hunter (Great Dane) voiced by Randall Park, and Maggie (Australian Shepherd) voiced by Isla Fisher, the four launch out on an adventure to help Reggie inflict the ultimate pain on Doug.

Strays is too hilarious, the movie keeps you gasping for air from the beginning credits to the last scene. Written by Dan Perrault, the Josh Greenbaum directed film is definitely worthy. The supporting cast includes; Harvey Guillén, Josh Gad, Brett Gelman, Rob Riggle, Sofia Vergara and Jamie Demetriou.
