International Recording artist Taylor Swift caused a seismic interruption of the music industry Friday with the release of her tenth studio album, “Midnights.” After eleven Grammy’s and hundreds of accolades and accomplishments, the 32-year old pop/country star is at the top of the recording game and is set to eclipse records by some of the greats.
Who would’ve thought the young lady born in West Reading, Pennsylvania would conquer the music industry in emphatic fashion. Well she has done just that! The “Midnight” album is a pure classic out of the gate. Since her 2006 debut, Taylor Swift took the world by storm. Going in the record books as the first female country singer to write a platinum-certified album. In addition, Swift is quite the movie star also, with supporting roles in Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions in 2020 and All Too Well: The Short Film in 2021.

The album is a testament of growth. “Midnights,” is a blast from the past with rock, soul, country and pop in the same pot. The gumbo of styles and originality taps into the psyche of REAL life that will definitely resonate with fans and admires. “Midnights” fits the bill of emotions that we all endure and encounter on a daily basis. The album is the perfect antidote, no matter what life throws at you. The 13-track album is well produced and written by Swift with friend and long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff.
The “Midnights” album is a mile away from the ‘Folklorian woods’ that Taylor Swift refers to her last two albums. The album is full of rich electronic pop tracks that are upbeat and illustrate a plot of emotions. “Snow on the Beach,” a song which intrigues listeners from the title alone, is a classic Taylor Swift signature track that plays a movie trailer in your head, leaving room for you to insert yourself as the star. The songwriting is superb.
The one thing that is apparent in the “Midnights” album is that Taylor Swift is bold, aware and up to the challenge of stepping into self confidence. Definitely, “Midnights” will go down as Taylor Swift’s best album to date….
Within hours of Midnights release, Taylor Swift has officially caused a disturbance in the music industry with setting Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day. Wow!
