 In today’s entertainment industry, a Creative is only as strong as his/her network of friends, fans, and followers. We at Kandiid understand the premise of building a network, and ultimately we believe it’s a direct correlation to one’s net worth. That’s why Kandiid and its ingenious team of talented professionals set out to build a platform that transforms the norm by providing not only what “Kreatives” want, but needs to be successful. With the recent introduction of NFT’s to the market, Kandiid’s tech team created “The Klub ” marketplace to standardize the look and feel to match the overall ecommerce experience for both the creator and the consumer. 
The objective is clear; Kandiid is the perfect platform for Creatives. Whether you’re a musician with millions of followers, or perhaps the paint is drying on your Picasso, Kandiid affords you, the user the opportunity to catalog, post, and monetize off your content at your terms. Set a monetary value, and publish your work for the masses to view and purchase in a secure, user friendly interface that reports, tracks, and collects the profits for your ease.
After developing the App “Spornado”, Founder Antoine McLaughlin came up with the idea of  creating Kandiid in 2018 as a social networking marketplace app to give creatives resources to monetize their artwork.  Along with college friend Tyler Roper, the vision was put to work with the design of the initial features and functionality for the app. In April 2019, Antoine relocated to Seattle, Washington and contracted app designers PubGENIUS Inc. to create the first build of Kandiid. In 2018, co-founders Michael Jackson and Justin Bethel, joined Kandiid as the first active board members and investors. In 2019 Air Force veteran Leighton Lawrence joined the executive board. The executive team expanded in 2020 to include recording industry executives Benny Pough of Dverse Media Group and Lewis Tucker, formerly of Uptown  and Bad Boy Records. NFL players Terrence Fede & Kyle Phillips joined Kandiid as investors and influencers for the Kandiid app in 2021. The Kandiid app was incorporated in April 2020, and the app was beta tested until September 1, 2020. The Kandiid app’s initial release to the public was in October 2021.
Hip-hop artist Soulja Boy was the first celebrity to join Kandiid as an equity holder in October 2021. In October 2021, Soulja Boy announced Kandiid nationally on the syndicated radio show – The Breakfast Club and on his official Twitter account. The app gained popularity as a result, and the Kandiid platform grew to over 15,000 unique users in less than 24 hours of Soulja Boy’s post. Key influencers in entertainment; D Teck, Karine “Sho-time” Thornton, Keith “Youngin” George II, DjeFeezy, Lamont “Renzo” Bracy, Frederick Wingate aka “The Kandiid Guy”, and nft influencer Stackpack, joined Kandiid as both advisors and infrastructure heads.
           What solution does Kandiid solve? 
Kandiid is the solution to the social marketplace. Kandiid creates entrepreneurs out of everyday ordinary people by empowering them to control the narrative. Users have the opportunity to monetize every post, create folders of content, or simply share. Kandiid is the one-stop shop for creatives.


Antoine McLaughlin, the founder and creator of the U.S. based Kandiid app, just closed the company’s seed round with a 100 million dollar valuation. The seed round garnered a variety of investors, from everyday blue collar workers, family, friends and industry professionals. The seed round, which opened to the public in November of 2021 yielded significant gains as the window of completion neared; however, it was an International VC Group from abroad that invested the capital to seal the deal on the round. As a matter of fact, the VC Group invested a kick starter fund on the now open Series A Round that will serve as the initial offering. As with the International VC group, Kandiid’s investors are attracted to the premise of being a part of groundbreaking innovation. Kandiid Investors are excited about the research and development of the app. The expectation is that as the valuation increases with the movement of the fund, they will be rewarded by a steady stream of growth. With the market positioning for a seismic comeback, Antoine McLaughlin likes the space the Kandiid app finds itself in. Antoine began his vision in the summer of 2018, and released the Kandiid app in October of 2021, positioning at #71 in the App Store. The Kandiid app is a mobile social marketplace that’s changing the way users utilize Social Media. In a country that is likely to slip into an economic recession, giving users control of the narrative is imperative to basic survival.
What attracts investors to Kandiid is the future upside of innovation and advancement in technology. Kandiid is scheduled to roll-out new updates in the 4th quarter of 2022, that will infuse future technology with trending features to enhance the lives of everyday users. The group was brought together by Keith George II, who acts as a strategic advisor at Kandiid. As Kandiid moves forward, we are excited about what 2023 holds in store. On the development end, we have an A-Grade team of tech giants working to push the platform to another galaxy. Literally! Kandiid will lead the charge as the gateway to the metaverse shortly. From there, the possibilities are endless. In addition, Kandiid will continue to upgrade and enhance its current features and widgets, which in return, will further empower creators. I also envision more partnerships and integrations in the realm of music, film, and the arts.
The industry has taken notice of Kandiid! The Kandiid app is no longer the new kid on the block. Unlike many other social platforms, Kandiid’s primary function is to provide a judgment-free zone for creatives to monetize.
