On Thursday, Anita announced a 15-city tour which will begin February 11, 2023 in Hollywood, Florida and conclude December 23rd in Oakland, California. Tickets go on sale November 17, 2022 via Live Nation.
Anita Baker began her career nearly 40 years ago with her debut album titled ‘The Songstress’. Since, Anita has been solid gold with (6) platinum albums and a gazillion accolades to accompany them. Anita Baker’s return to live performance will mark her first time since successfully gaining control of her publishing catalog and masters. In 2013, Anita Baker was inducted into Michigan’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has received eight Grammy awards from 18 nominations. The Songstress Tour will signify her first official live performance since the farewell shows in 2018, and her last full length world tour, Rhythm of Love.
