Sunday was full of surprises as Taylor Swift performed for her final night in London of the Eras Tour. A star-studded show filled with Taylor Swift bellowing her most noted tunes, was topped off with special guests which included Gracie Abrams as the two delighted the audience singing an acoustic version of their duet “US”. But the surprise of the night was when Swift was joined on stage with her boyfriend, Super Bowl Champion tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dressed in a tuxedo and top hat, Kelce surprised Swift by performing a choreographed routine with her dancers during the performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” and once again during “Tortured Poets Department.” The crowd erupted in both applause and tears. A special moment, to say the least. The skit was beautifully timed into the setlist which came as a surprise to all, even Swift. So much for the naysayers on the Swift/Kelce relationship.
A night to remember, as even the legendary Paul McCartney was even spotted dancing to the hit “But Daddy I Love Him!” Swift was simply amazing, performing all of her hits, old and new, for the sold-out crowd at Wembley Stadium. Even though Sunday marked the end of the 3-set extravaganza, Swift is scheduled to return to Wembley Stadium for five more shows in August to complete the European leg of The Eras Tour.
