As we try to pick up the pieces of shattered emotions from Yung Blue’s 2020 EP Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, he he leaves no time for pity, and offers the healing process with the follow-up “Love Scars 2”. Released 4/14, “Love Scars 2” is a 15-track masterpiece featuring some of the biggest names in the industry. Yung Bleu is sure to tap into one’s insecurities, abilities, and vulnerabilities on this album.
Mr. Bleu Vandross, goes in as only he does with his unique blen of r&b and hip-hop bravado. Finally, Yung Bleu has taken a break from collaborations to work on his own craft. The full length album signifies a return, not to say that he ever left, but fans across the globe has been on standby for a minute. The lead track “Casmigos Nights”, eases listeners into a all-around album filled with ups and downs that will fulfill the appetite for love. “Love Scars 2” is an instructional guide to love, from a male’s perspective, that is hones and upfront. You can’t ask for anything more!
With special features from the likes of Chris Breezy, Tink, and Ty Dolla $ign, the album is a constellation of greatness on an epic level. Although we all know Bleu Vandross vocals as an r&b vocalist, don’t sleep on his ability to spit a fire 16′. On the track, ‘Lonely Winters’, Yung Blue goes ham on the track reminiscing of a good love lost. ‘Maybe we’ve run out of time’
